User-Friendly Livestream Yoga in an Ever-Changing World

What a year it’s been for all of us, individually and collectively. And it’s only April!

We are trying to navigate uncharted waters, trying to find a direction in our lives. If you feel lost and confused, you are not alone. Many of us feel anxious and overwhelmed. Be patient as we grow accustomed to the new normal. Like all things in life, this too shall pass, and it will become a memory.

I enlarged my studio and meditation center. Yoga classes began at the North Palm Beach Public Library on the first Monday in October. I also resumed teaching at Old Port Cove.

When the current crisis arose, we shut down all our classes and activities. Emails and phone calls came in from my fellow yogis. We started trying to figure out how to bring yoga back into our lives for our mental and physical well-being.

One day, my daughter Erica said to me, “Why don’t you teach yoga on Facebook Live?”

Until then, I’d never given a thought to teaching online. I didn’t even know how I would begin.

When I told my friend Alfredo what my daughter suggested, he assured me it was possible, and he offered to help. He has already created my website, and he manages it for me.

Just like that, an inspiring idea was born. We began creating an entire platform to teach yoga online.

Alfredo has created an amazing website which students can access very easily. It has taken much time and dedication on his part. Like most things in life, ideas are just the beginning. A first step.

There’s no need to worry. While setting up live-stream yoga, we made every effort to ensure logging on and participating would be as easy as possible. If you miss the live class, you can log in and access the recording to watch and practice any time of day or night.

I hope you will try it. I think you will enjoy it!

Namaste, Mi Sun.
